FREED: A woman was rescued after falling between the train and the tracks this morning
A WOMAN was rescued after falling between the train and the platform at Newport station.
Gwent Police and a fire crew from Malpas attended the scene after the woman fell onto the tracks at 12.15am on Sunday morning.
It took crews ten minutes to free the woman, who sustained minor injuries, and was treated at the scene by paramedics who were on hand with trauma packs.
