DRIVERS have been warned warned to take care after heavy rain caused flooding and difficult driving conditions.
The Queensway outside Newport railway station was flooded on both sides of the dual-carriageway this morning.
A yellow 'be aware' weather warning is in place in Wales until 8.30am this morning.
Rain, occasionally heavy, has fallen throughout much of the night and the Met Office is warning of the likelihood of some surface water flooding, and possible travel disruption.
The prediction was that rainfall of 10-20mm was quite likely in many areas.
