THERE are reports of heavy congestion on the M48 eastbound towards Chepstow.
South Wales Fire and Rescue said a crash involving a large goods vehicle and a car happened at around 6.08am this morning.
Laura Packer was on the M48 this morning and said she saw an accident taking up the left lane just before the turning for Chepstow at junction two.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue said fire crews from Caldicot crews attended the accident and made the vehicles and area safe.
