A TAXI driver was robbed and injured in Cwmbran after dropping off a man.
At approximately 11.30pm on March 15 a taxi was dropping off a fare in Nether Court when the passenger said he needed to get some money.
At this point four people approached the taxi and stole the taxi driver's mobile phone.
The offenders then made off in a light blue/grey Citreon Xsara towards Ty Gwyn Road.
The taxi driver sustained a minor hand injury during the incident but did not require any medical treatment.
The offenders were wearing scarves concealing their faces but two were confirmed as male, and one as female.
Gwent Police officers are investigating, and anyone with information relating to this are asked to call 101 quoting 1600089644.
