A SECOND arrest has been made in connection with the robbery of a taxi driver in Cwmbran.
The offence took place in Nether Court on Tuesday, March 15.
Gwent Police arrested a 25-year-old man from Pontypool, and he is currently in police custody.
An 18-year-old man from Pontypool is also currently on police bail for the offence.
The incident occurred close to 11.30pm, when four people approached a taxi driver after a passenger was dropped off.
The group stole a mobile phone belonging to the driver, who sustained a hand injury during the robbery but did not require medical treatment.
