POLICE have appealed for help after £180 went missing from an elderly woman's house after she let two men in who claimed to be from 'Trading Standards'.
On Monday morning, April 18, several phone calls and visits were reportedly made to the address on Trinant Terrace in Trinant by two men. They were let in to the house after claiming to be from Trading Standards and saying that they needed to complete work at the address.
One of the men is white, in his late twenties, of medium build with short dark hair. He was wearing a blue hooded top, blue jeans and a navy Nike baseball cap.
After the men left it was noticed that £180 was missing.
