Sims Square, Newport
A MAN who suffered burns after a bedroom fire in Newport was taken to hospital this morning.
He had non-life threatening burns to his leg and stomach in the incident on Sims Square at 2.25am.
Paramedics treated the man after the accidental blaze and took him to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
Fire crews from Duffryn, Maindee and Malpas attended and had left by 2.49am.
Police officers also attended.
