Bridge Street closes ahead of Newport railway bridge works
BRIDGE Street in Newport was closed off this morning ahead of work to demolish the railway bridge.
The bridge is being removed and replaced as part of work to electrify the South Wales mainline.
The bridge will be shut to traffic for up to seven months from today.
