Police are appealing for information following a robbery which happened at the BP Petrol Station on Malpas Road in Newport, this morning at 4.10am.
They are looking for four men in connection with this incident.
The first is described as white, wearing white trainers and a black adidas hooded top with a grey panel on the chest and grey stripes. He was also wearing black tracksuit bottoms.
The second is described as white, wearing blue jeans, a black hooded shell type top and black gloves.
The third is described as possibly Asian, wearing army style trousers, a black parka jacket with a fur trim hood and black gloves.
The fourth is described as wearing light coloured trousers and a black puffa-style jacket with a red logo on the upper left chest area and a hood with white material underneath. He was also wearing black gloves.
They were possibly seen leaving the area in a small red car.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "No one was harmed during the incident but the shop-keeper is understandably shaken."
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting log number 44 26/10/16.

WE'RE getting reports of a heavy police presence near the BP garage on Malpas Road.
There are no reports as yet of traffic being affected.
