AN ITALIAN restaurant is re-opening in Rogerstone next week.
Mamma Linas, which used to be in Ruskin Avenue, closed in January, but it is now re-opening in a new location in Rogerstone, Tregwilym Road.
There's currently renovation work happening at the site, but the restaurant will be re-opening on Thursday, November 3.
A Mamma Linas spokesman said: “We’ve finally found a new home.
“The former Juboraj building on Tregwilym Road is perfect for us, many of the locals still know it as the former Jolly Roger and we’re in the process of a full renovation.
"A custom made wood fired pizza oven is almost ready to be installed.
"We hope to bring back our restaurant in style with the added addition of a first floor cocktail bar.”
Book ahead via their social media is recommended, especially for their Sunday lunch.
He said:“We will of course be serving our Sunday lunch again, we’ve have tweaked it from the carvery style to table service in order to help cut out waiting times.”
