GWENT Police are carrying out an investigation following the death of a 19-year-old woman from Magor.
Gwent Police officers were making enquiries at a property in Oak Street, in Newport, on Wednesday as part of the ongoing investigation related to her death.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said: "Emergency services were called to an address in Magor at 7.08am on Wednesday following concerns for the health of the woman.
"The woman died at the Royal Gwent hospital. The circumstances surrounding this death is not yet known and an investigation is ongoing."
