Crash on the M4 near Newport causes delays

A spokeswoman from Gwent Police has said that the car involved in the accident has been recovered.
The ambulance service was not called out to the scene.

A CRASH along the M4 eastbound near Newport is causing heavy congestion.
The accident occurred at Junction 26, A4051 (Malpas Road), causing one lane to be blocked.
Heavy traffic buildup has been reported to Junction 27, B4951 (High Cross).
Recovery work is ongoing.
