THE family of the Newport man who is at the centre of a murder investigation said he will "forever stay in our hearts".
Jan Jedrzejewski died after being found unconscious in Keene Street, Newport on Thursday January 12.
His family paid tribute to him in Polish and English:
"Jan you were an amazing, caring and sincere son, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend. We will never forget the smile on your face when your favourite football team Real Madrid scored a goal. You will forever stay in our hearts. We love and miss you, until we meet again.
"Jan ty byłeś wspaniałym opiekuńczym i szczerym synem bratem szwagrem wujkiem i przyjacielem. Nigdy nie zapomnimy Twojego uśmiechu na twarzy gdy twoja ulubiona drużyna piłkarska Real Madryt strzeliła gola na zawsze zostaniesz w naszych sercach kochamy cię tesknimy i spotkamy się znowu."
