VOLUNTEERS at a Risca Museum are appealing for information after hundreds of photos from the 1950s were found at a house in Crosskeys.
John Venn who works at the Oxford House Industrial History Society, which is based at the Risca Colliers Institute in Grove Road, said the photographs were brought in from a couple in Crosskeys who recently bought the house.
He said: “They found the family photographs which are believed to be from the 1950s in the attic after they moved in. There’s a box of about 100 different pictures.”
The pictures are believed to be of the Beacham family and anyone who recognises the photographs is asked to call Mr Venn on 01495 271953.
