DOGS can now enjoy a pub lunch along side their owner after a new dog menu was launched at The Bell Inn, Caerleon.
Pups visiting the village pub on Bulmore Road can now tuck into pate, chicken and rice, chocolate drops - and even Pawsecco.
The idea was the brainchild of owners Charlotte Webb and Joanna Merrick who say the venue has always been dog friendly.
"We started the menu two weeks ago with a few small items such as Pawsecco and dog beer," explained Charlotte. "We are really dog friendly anyway so we decided to have a dog menu. We bring the meal on a mat and the beer in a bowl. They can have a starter, main and dessert.
"People are loving it, we have sold about 20 meals so far."
