PETS from all over Gwent are in the running for our prettiest pet competition.
We have been flooded with entries and, as a result, we are now offering you the chance to pick a reader’s favourite too.
They will also receive a pet portrait by artist Christopher Langley, worth £170.
We will publish all entries in a special supplement, with a vote deciding the winner.
Mr Langley himself will pick his own favourite, and produce bespoke prints of his artwork for both on a canvas.
Send your picture entries to newsdesk@southwalesargus.co.uk by July 14, or post them to Pretty Pet Portrait Competition, Newsdesk, South Wales Argus, Cardiff Road, Maesglas, Newport NP20 3QN.
Include your name, your address, your daytime telephone number, and the name of your pet.
Hard copy pictures will not be returned.
