WE HAVE been sent hundreds of entries to our prettiest pet competition.
The competition has now closed and we will be publishing a supplement in early August with the huge variety of pets who were entered.
Two winners, one chosen by a public vote and the other chosen by artist Christopher Langley, will receive a pet portrait worth £170 created by Mr Langley.
The pets featured will be whittled down to a shortlist by Mr Langley which will be then be put to an online readers vote.
The winners will receive the bespoke print on canvas created by Mr Langley, who is one of the artists in residence at the Celtic Manor Resort.
The print, on A2 canvas, will be created from a digital painting of the winning pet and will have a signed certificate of authentication on the back.
You can view Mr Langley’s work at art4u.wales.
