RESIDENTS at a block of flats in the Bettws area of Newport are unhappy after a police car has been parked by their door, leaving them only a small gap to get in and out.
Gavin James, who lives in the flats of Lambourne Way, in Newport, said he took the pictures outside his house around 15 minutes ago.
He said: "You are only able to squeeze through to get out.
"There is no chance you would be able to get in or out with a pram. There is no way people would be able to get in or out in a safely manner in the case of an emergency."
Mr James said that this has happened before - both with vehicles and police cars - and that bollards need to be installed.
A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said that, at this stage, they would encourage anyone with any concerns to contact them directly with the detail so they can look into it.
