A NEWPORT youth group started its summer programme of events last week.
The Shaftesbury Youf Gang group were treated to a tour of Dragon Park in Spytty.
Richie Davies, of Youf Gang, said: "We attended the facility and the lads enjoyed a superb guided tour courtesy of our host Andy Pask.
"We followed the tour with a football coaching session and short match as well.
"All of the Youf Gang really enjoyed the visit and came away happy but pretty tired after a thorough work out."
Mr Davies added: "Following this, next week we have an outward bound day arranged, courtesy of the Newport Youth Service and we will also be visiting the House of Commons on August 14."
