NEWPORT pedestrian bridge is closed following police concern for a man's safety.
A spokesman for Gwent Police said officers were called to the scene following concerns for a man's safety.
She confirmed that police and South Wales Fire and Rescue were on scene and the incident is now finished.
She said: "We launched our multi-agency team to speak to the person and he is now safe and receiving the help he needs."
