GWENT Police are appealing for information following an alleged incident of affray that took place on Newport High Street on Monday, October 30.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “At approximately 9.40pm that evening, three men described as in their twenties and riding bikes used intimidating behaviour towards a 44-year-old woman.
“One of the men then allegedly pulled a knife out and threatened the woman.
“The incident took place near to the McDonalds on High Street.”
She said they believe the three men involved had travelled up from Commercial Road into the town centre. One was wearing a grey tracksuit and of slim build.
She added: “The 44 year old woman received no injuries.
“CCTV from the area shows these three men on bikes that we would like to speak to in connection with the incident.”
