BIN and recycling collections in Newport will be carried out a day later than normal in the two weeks following Christmas.
There will be no collections on Christmas Day, which falls on a Monday, so bins due to be collected that day will instead be picked up the following day, Tuesday, December 26.
Bins which would normally be collected on Tuesday will instead be picked up on Wednesday and so on through the week, with collections usually held on Friday to be carried out on Saturday, December 30.
The same arrangements will also be in place the following week, with no collections on Monday, January 1, and then running a day late until Saturday, January 6.
Normal service will resume on Monday, January 8.
