A WOMAN has made her dream a reality by opening her own coffee shop.
Lisa Randall has opened Brew, a coffee house located on Commercial Street in Risca.
She said: “It has always been my dream to own a coffee shop.
“ I had the opportunity to go for it.
“I fell in love with the shop when I saw it, and could see beyond the work that was needed.”
The 35-year-old says she has been working in the industry for most of her life and always wanted her own business.
She uses local produce and sources her food from local suppliers.
She said: “I try to cater the menu something for everyone, vegan, gluten free and children’s menu as well as Welsh food and hearty dishes.
“We have an outside area so we will use that in the summer.
“The menu will change throughout the year.”
The shop, has already gained a following in the town.
Mrs Randalls said: “The community have been so welcoming and they have been really supportive.”
She added that the shop already has already acquired “ loads of regulars” since it opened.
