FOUR men from the Caerphilly area have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
The men, aged 24, 25, 28 and 36, were arrested following warrants in Tredegar, New Tredegar, Abertysswg and Bargoed on Thursday, May 3.
Two women aged 31 and 29 were also arrested on suspicion of money laundering and have been released while investigations are carried out.
Police seized two cars and large quantities of cash, as well as what is believed to be class A drugs, during the warrants.
Speaking when the warrants were carried out, Detective Chief Inspector Mark Pope said: “Information received from our communities is vital for warrants like these be executed successfully.
“Nobody knows their villages and streets better than the communities that live there.
“If you see something that either seems out of place or in most cases, if something just does not add up then you can contact us and know it will be dealt with seriously.
“What may seem like a small detail to you, to Gwent Police, it could be the final piece to a much bigger puzzle.”
