Push Cycle Works on Stow Hill
A popular cycle gear shop has closed down after going into liquidation.
Independent cycle store Push Cycleworks, in Stow Hill, Newport, has closed its doors just 18 months after first opening.
The shop, which specialised in selling bicycles and cycling accessories, as well as repairing them, confirmed today (Tuesday, May 22) that they had stopped trading.
Push Cyclework's owner said the closure was due to the current trading environment, and added that it was a sad day.
