UPDATE: TRAFFIC is worsening on the M4 around junction 28 (Tredegar Park) due to a crash involving two cars.

TRAFFIC is building on the M4 westbound as far back as Magor as The Rolling Stones prepare to take the stage in Cardiff this evening.

The legendary rock band are playing the Principality Stadium this evening, and traffic queues are already being reported from junction 23A for Magor Services as people travel to the event.

Some roads in the centre of Cardiff are already closed, with more to be shut from 5.30pm.

The band is due to take the stage to perform a set of their greatest hits at 8.20pm, following support from English rockers Elbow.

It is due to finish at 10.30pm, with city centre roads to re-open at 11.30pm.
