IT IS yet another sizzling Saturday - but according to the Met Office, change is on the way over the next few days.
Today's highest temperature in Newport and other parts of Gwent will be around 23C, several degrees cooler than last weekend, but still very warm, and similar temperatures - with wall-to-wall sunshine - are predicted for tomorrow.
But today and tomorrow, a welcome breeze may make it feel a couple of degrees cooler.
Things begin to shift after the weekend however, with more cloud and slightly lower temperatures on the way.
Monday's 'high' in Gwent is expected to be around 21C and there may be showers during the afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to climb no higher than 20C for the rest of next week, with cloud increasingly taking over from the sunshine.
There is good news for hay fever sufferers, as the pollen levels are now classified as 'low'.
