GARETH Jenkins has been sacked after Wales crashed out of the World Cup at the group stage.
Defeat to Fiji sealed the fate of the former Llanelli coach, who had asked to be judged on his World Cup campaign.
The WRU acted swiftly and informed Jenkins that he was being dismissed this morning.
The search now begins for his successor.
