Skenfrith Hall Committee held its AGM on Thursday, January 10, 2008. Stuart Penny gave a summary of the year 2007. Hywel Jones gave the financial report. Then came the election of officers. Stuart Penny is Chairman; Hywel Jones is Treasurer and he will also continue as the Film Club officer. Booking Officer is Kath Jasper; minutes secretary - Lorraine Webb. Fun Day organiser is Linda Penny. Stuart said the committee needed additional members and two people who attended the AGM were invited to become committee members. They are Jenny Finn and Colin Telford. All the old committee members were re-elected. Hall AGMs do not usually open with a glass of champagne, but this one did - in memory of Alan Jones who had been Chairman and Treasurer for so many years.
The next committee meeting will be on Thursday, February 7 at 7.30pm.
