Usk Castle Friends are holding a poetry evening at the Three Salmons Hotel in Usk on Febuary 6 at 7.30pm. Renowned local poets Barbara Daniels and Ann Cluysenaar, who have each published several volumes of poetry, will be reading some of their work, which promises to be amusing, thought-provoking and profound. Barbara has won several major poetry prizes and is now a Member of the Welsh Academi, for her services to Welsh literature.
