AN ILLEGAL Iranian immigrant has appeared at Cardiff crown court.
Dariush Abedy, 26, of Charles Street, Newport, admitted possessing false documents with intent.
His counsel, Peter Davies, said the deportation notice had been served on Abedy.
"He is very concerned that he will be removed to Iran where his future is very uncertain indeed" he added.
Sentence was adjourned until February 14 and Abedy was remanded in custody.
