A SECOND man was arrested on suspicion of robbing a blind man in Pill.
The attack on George Heard on April 2 caused outcry among readers and the Pill community.
The 58-year-old who is registered blind, deaf and cannot speak was assaulted as he returned home from picking up his disability benefit from Pill post office at 11.20am.
He was punched and knocked to the ground before the males took money from his inside jacket pocket.
A 21-year-old man has already been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.
Now a second man, aged 19, has been arrested and is currently being questioned by polic Anyone with any information or who witnessed the robbery is asked to call Gwent Police on 01633 838111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
