WE at Prime Time are celebrating this month following the glittering Age Positive Awards in London recently.
Two Prime Time nominees for the awards which aim to stamp out age discrimination (whether it be against young or old) were rewarded at the ceremony hosted by TV presenter Lorraine Kelly.
The prestigious event was held in Lancaster House, just a stone's throw away from Buckingham Palace. The stories of people from all over the country were an inspiration and proof that ability is much more important than age.
Continuing the theme we take a look today at the new legislation which will stamp out age discrimination in the workplace.
We also offer you some useful tips on how to keep the grandchildren happy this summer when you will undoubtedly be asked to do at least some of the babysitting.
And for those with itchy feet, take a tip out of our travel writer's book and take a slow (but luxurious) coach to China.
We hope you enjoy this month's issue and please do let us know if there are any subjects you would like us to feature in the future.
