IF you are off to Party in the Park this weekend, keep an eye out for some talent-spotters. Because the agency which signed up Newport Model Behaviour winner Jenny Richards will be there searching for some new faces to add to their books.

And jetsetter Jenny, (pictured) whose new-found career has already led her to France and Africa, is urging would-be models to make themselves known to talent-spotters from the Premiere model agency, who will be at the Coopers Field, Cardiff, event on Saturday.

She said: "If you see a model scout, don't just walk past them ten times - if you want to do it, just go up and ask if they think you could be a model. "If you think you can do it, keep trying."

Jenny, 19, won Channel Four's reality television show Model Behaviour last autumn despite not being drawn in the final five contestants.

She was drafted in when one of the original girls dropped out - and went on to win a year's contract with Premier model agency.

At the moment Jenny is following a hectic schedule in Paris, but is looking forward to taking the whole of August off, and is planning to take Lacey on holiday.

"I have been really busy and have done a lot of travelling," she said. "I was in Zanzibar, southern Africa, in January, and I was in Greece for a couple of weeks."

She hopes to continue modelling when her contract runs out, saying: "Most models don't have a set contract, so I think they will keep me on."

And the teenage mum is planning a new start in London for her daughter, Lacey, two. Her work has meant being away from Lacey during the week, but now Jenny is planning to take the tot to London to live in a flat she will rent in Holland Park.

Jenny's mum, Sheila, will still live in The Gaer, Newport, but will go to London to look after Lacey when Jenny is working.
