LET's hear it for our Helen as she aims to make it a TV gameshow double for Wales tomorrow.

Big Brother contestant Helen Adams, pictured, from Cwmbran, could follow Charlotte Hobrough from Rhoose, who last night scooped the £1 million prize as winner of ITV's Survivor show.

Helen and the three other Big Brother housemates don't know that one of them will be evicted tonight and the £70,000 winner announced tomorrow.

But we want you to cast your vote for bubbly hairdresser Helen, whose endearing antics have won over the televiewing nation.

In Survivor, 25-year-old married policewoman Charl-otte beat off the challenge of fellow contestant Jackie Carey, 31, from Woking, Surrey, to take the top prize.

A jury of previously evicted contestants voted for Charlotte unanimously with all seven votes going in her favour.

The result represents a final triumph for the contestant who was labelled Charlotte the Harlot after a fling on the island with fellow contestant Adrian Bauckham.

The similarities to Helen's romping with Paul in Big Brother have led to reams of off-screen speculation about their real love lives.

Since returning from the island, Charlotte has been working to save her marriage to fellow police officer Mark.

Survivor, which hit the screens in May, saw 16 contestants marooned on the island of Pulua Tiga in the South China Sea with barely enough food to survive.

As well as extreme weather conditions, hunger and dangerous animals the contestants had to demonstrate an ability to bond with each other in order to be named the ultimate survivor.

Helen's ordeal has been less sophisticated, and she has made the nation chuckle with such questions as "Do chick peas come from chickens?" and "What's insanity?"

Her former housemate Paul Clarke has told of his hopes for love with Bubbly hairdresser.

He said: "I've been out of the house for five days now and I can't stop thinking about the girl.

"I'm going to have to phone her to let her know."

He says he's been phoning her mum Liz Adams daily since coming out of the house.

Meanwhile, Survivor's Charlotte learned of her success in the reality game show in a live programme broadcast last night from London's Pinewood Studios.

The mayor of Barry, where Charlotte is based as a police officer, said she was delighted that the 25-year-old had won.

Margaret Wilkinson said: "I'm very pleased for her - £1 million is a lot of money and I am sure it will make her life different, but I wouldn't have liked to have gone through what she went through."

Meanwhile, Helen has already given Cwmbran a lift.

Vote for her and help to make it a triumph.
