RADIO 1 DJ Zane Lowe will be dropping into Monmouth with his super-cool band Breaks Co-op.

He will be joined by fellow Kiwi Hamish Clark to cook up their trip hop beats with a dreamy, soulful ambience.

First album Roofers was released in 1997.

Several years of hiatus followed as Lowe became a hugely successful radio and TV presenter. After hearing British musician Andy Lovegrove sing they decided his crooning vocals were perfect for their music, and brought him on board for their recently-released second album The Sound Inside.

Lowe's enthusiasm for new music is legendary and if his razor-sharp presenting style is anything to go by, the show promises to be a memorable experience.

The band play Savoy Theatre in Church Street, Monmouth on Saturday August 26.

Tickets are £7 plus a booking fee.

For more information call the theatre on 01600 772467.
