ONE lane is blocked on the M4 at Newport this morning and traffic is very slow between junctions 27 at Highcross and J28 at Tredegar Park.
The blockage is due to an earlier accident with the lane now partially blocked by three vehicles that have tried to fit onto the hard shoulder.
Traffic is passing but lorries and large vehicles are having to move out to pass.
South Wales Traffic Officers are now on scene.
