AN exhibition about the British Resistance in Wales continues into the New Year.
The exhibition at Abergavenny Museum is inspired by the film Resistance, which is based on a novel by local author Owen Sheers.
It tells the true story of the movement during the Second World War and of a woman left behind.
Exhibits include costume and artwork from the film, alongside early drafts of the novel. Rachael Rogers, curator, said “Wefelt the combination of a fascinating subject, brought to life by a local author and the pending film release made this the ideal time to stage an exhibition.
“We have been privileged to work with the families of those men who were part of the Resistance, who have generously lent us original artefacts”.
The exhibition runs until February 25. The museum is open Monday to Saturday from 11am-1pm and 2pm to 4pm.
