9.59am ONE inch (2.5cm) of snow has fallen in Blaenavon this morning.
9.30am PARTS of Gwent woke up to a covering with snow this morning, with the Met Office issuing an amber "be prepared" snow warning in parts of South Wales in place until midday today (Monday).
The north of Gwent saw heavy snow, with Tredegar and Brynmawr in Blaenau Gwent and northern Monmouthshire particularly affected with up to 2in (5cm) of snow.
