A CHEPSTOW man admitted possession of an imitation firearm today, following an incident last year where he was involved in an eight-hour stand-off with police.
Greg Searle, 34, of no fixed abode, had been due to go on trial today at Cardiff Crown Court but pleaded guilty to possessing an imitation firearm during an incident in Aust Crescent, Bulwark, on August 3 last year.
He had already pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to affray and sending a letter or other article conveying threat.
Searle will be sentenced on March 16.
