DELAYS on a £3.5 million road improvement scheme in Newport are causing chaos for residents, businesses and motorists.
The dualling project on the old A48 road at Tredegar Park was started in late April and supposed to be completed on July 31. But two months on work is still ongoing.
A complex system of diversions are affecting residents travelling to and from Coedkernew and the surrounding villages, shoppers using the Asda store, customers at the Dragon Fly pub, and the hundreds of people who work at the various businesses based on the nearby retail parks.
