FIVE GP surgeries in Newport are being lined up to take part in a trial project designed to help out patients who want to quit smoking.
Belle Vue, Rugby, Isca, Lliswerry and Malpas Brook surgeries have expressed an interest in hosting advice and support sessions run by the All Wales Smoking Cessation Service service, which have been offered previously on a referral basis to individuals and groups at workplaces.
