This included two beatboxers who auditioned without any preparation after walking past the theatre that day, ventriloquist Kieran Powell, two ballroom dancers, the Cordraig Choir and dance act Pick N' Mix from Cardiff.

Variety act Sticky Fingers Wales was also put through to the regional final. The act, made up of five men in their mid-40s from Thornhill, Abersychan and Pontnewydd, impressed the judges with their lyrics.
