THE Celtic Manor Resort has been named Britain's best hotel at travel awards ceremony for the second year running.
The five star resort, which hosted the Ryder Cup in 2010, retained the gold award at the Meetings & Incentive Travel Awards.
It comes after the resort was voted Britain's Top Conference Hotel for the fifth year running by Conference and Incentive Travel magazine in October.
The latest award was voted by the readers of Meetings and Incentive Travel magazine.
Celtic Manor chief operating officer Ian Edwards said: "Eighteen months on from hosting a Ryder Cup described as the greatest ever, it is very pleasing to keep getting this recognition".
