A BLACKWOOD supermarket is preparing to support three local charities as part of a new initiative.
The town’s Asda store will launch the Community Life Board on March 26.
This will see shoppers voting for which charity they wish to see receive £200 from the store out of three chosen charities. The scheme will run again every two months with different charities nominated.
For the first two months, shoppers will vote between Cancer Care Line Blackwood, Action for Children Blackwood and Islwyn Gymnastics.
The winning charity will receive £200 and the other two will each receive £50.
