A BLAENAVON woman had two reasons to celebrate after her dogs picked up a first and third place at Crufts.
Linda Harvey-Major's labrador retrievers Shiraz, seven, and Rhianna, two, won first place in the good citizen dog and third for the postgraduate prize respectively.
Ms Harvey-Major, a dog show exhibitor, has been entering dogs at Crufts for 38 years and 13 of her 16 dog have already qualified for next year's Crufts.
The good citizen award is given to dogs who walk well when on a lead, are good with children, obey sit and stay commands and use gates well - dogs which are good around others.
Ms Harvey-Major, who has seven champions in her kennels at the moment, said: "We were very pleased."
