MORE than 200 children joined in a sponsored walk to raise money for four-year-old Eloise Lawn, who has been diagnosed with cancer.
Before Eloise’s diagnosis, she had been attending Archbishop Rowan Williams Church in Wales Primary School, Caldicot.
The pupils were more than delighted to take part in a walk to raise money for Eloise’s chosen charity, the Noah’s Ark Appeal.
On Monday, Eloise was able to join her fellow school pupils, teachers and parents in an hour’s walk around the school grounds.
Head teacher, Graham Murphy led the walk.
He said: “They all really enjoyed it, with many of them singing along the way.
“It was lovely to see Eloise joining in the walk, and everyone was happy to have taken part to raise money for the charity.”
Eloise, who lives in Leechpool, near Portskewett, was diagnosed with lymphoma in January and is undergoing her second round of chemotherapy treatment.
