ABOUT £1,710 has been wiped off the value of the average Gwent house since last December, new figures show.
Research by estate agent Reeds Rains shows that house prices in Wales have fallen in nine of the last 12 months.
But while the value of your home is 0.6 per cent lower than in February 2011, the research shows the average property in Gwent has doubled in value in the past ten years.
