THE jury in the case of a Caldicot teenager accused of rape was discharged today after it failed to reach a verdict.
Timothy Park, 19, of Estuary View, was on trial at Cardiff Crown Court, after he denied six counts of rape of an under-age boy, six counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and two counts of attempted rape.
Park was released on bail to appear at the court next Tuesday, when it will be decided if a re-trial will take place.
