The friends are planning to split the winnings.
They work together as production operatives at Unilever’s Pot Noodle production plant in Crumlin, playing four lines in the Wednesday and Saturday night Lotto draws regularly over the past year.
The winning ticket was bought at Cwm Convenience Store on Canning Street.
Rob Bailey called it a big boost in hard times.
He said: "We’re still shaking with shock! It’s a thrill to win something like this as a group. It’ll make life more comfortable for us all."
The men are planning change their cars, with one upgrading his caravan and another fitting new windows in his house.
Rob Bailey said he "couldn’t believe it" when the numbers came up, adding: "I couldn’t sleep on Saturday night, I only managed half an hour before a 12-hour shift. I don’t know how I got through that, it must have been the adrenalin rush."
The foursome plan to keep playing the Lotto each week.
